JOE ANDERSON, HAS VISITED NORRIS GREEN AND THE SITE OF WHAT WAS ONCE KNOWN AS THE BOOT ESTATE, TO SEE SOME OF THE 250 NEW HOMES BEING BUILT THEREJanuary 14, 2014
Their shame was underlined at a recent council meeting, when Richard Kemp sneaked out of the meeting before a Labour motion to discuss the Boot Estate was tabled.
But Labour has sorted out the Lib Dems mess, building hundreds of new homes on the site, with hundreds more yet to come.
Joe Anderson said: “This is Labour values in action.”
“The Boot Estate was a blight on Liverpool. It was a scar on our city. It was a mess, and it is something the Liberal Democrats are rightly ashamed of.”
“Labour has abolished the Boot Estate. Put simply – it isn’t there anymore.”
“Instead, we have built hundreds of fantastic, affordable new homes.”
“The families who used to live here are returning.”
“The community is becoming stronger again.”
“We have worked hard to deliver on our promise to sort out the Boot Estate.”
“Thanks to us keeping that promise, the future for everyone in Norris Green is brighter and better.”
